First 3 Years! (2021-2023)

First 3 Years! (2021-2023)

Hi I'm Gabby and I am the Founder of Pierogi Posse out of Denver, CO!

I am originally from Fairmont, WV (just south of Morgantown) and growing up, my Polish grandmother would always make me pierogis at home. I always wanted to start a festival vending booth and Pierogis were the obvious choice for their nostalgia and their practicality.

Pierogis are the perfect festival snack / meal. They are quick to eat, come in many flavors, and are a special food item to many. Furthermore, there are many vegan and vegetarian options which is ideal for appeasing all crowds!

Our first year on the road was met with many challenges. Our first event (Lightning in a Bottle in Bakersfield, CA) was trial by fire! I always worked in bars and restaurants but nothing compares to "the rush" at a festival when there's 100 people in line and everyone is hungry! We made mistakes but we learned from them, just as we do at every event. We are happy that LIB continues to bring us back year after year and it's one of the first events of the season, always reminding us of where we came from so to speak, and where we are headed, as we always try to introduce something new every year and our LIB family usually gets to see our new approach before anyone else!

Throughout the past 3 years, we've done SO MANY different events, including Bonnaroo, Lost Lands, Suwannee Hulaween, Dancefestopia, Bass Canyon, Wakaan Music Festival, Tico Times Bluegrass Festival, Rising Vibes, Underground Music Festival, Sturgis Bike Rally, and so many more!

In 2022 we added our second booth set-up based out of Tampa, FL and in 2025 we are adding a 3rd operation in Los Angeles, CA, truly making us a coast to coast operation! We hope to add another in the Northeast region sometime soon, as well as get our own trailer and mobile cart to continue selling in a variety of approaches as we continue to grow!

What I think makes Pierogi Posse special is our approach to vending. We always say that we are more than just a food vendor, but part of the show! As music fans and festival goers ourselves, we understand the customer base through and through. We like to have fun with our fans as we believe the interaction is just as important as the nourishment we provide.

Even our name evokes that philosophy, as posse is a tight knit family, and we consider everyone that eats our food to be part of that family!

Thank you for being part of the Posse! We hope to see you at a festival in the near future!
